Human Anatomy Through Cadaver Study
For Educational and Training Centers

A Valuable Addition to Your Educational Program
Our proposal is to introduce the teaching of human anatomy for artists through a unique and innovative methodology, combining the practical study of real human anatomy on cadavers at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Valencia with ZBrush visualization and a wide range of high-value educational resources.
This transformative experience allows students to learn anatomy in the same spirit as great masters such as Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo Buonarroti, and to apply that knowledge directly to their artistic creations, characters, and creatures.
The program can be integrated as part of a master's degree, an academic course, an independent module, or an intensive specialized training program.
Who Is It For?
We offer an artistic anatomy course specifically designed to be integrated into the educational programs of schools and training centers focused on art, design, sculpture, 3D, illustration, animation, and related creative disciplines.
What Does This Course Bring to Your Institution?
- A unique and innovative approach to anatomy: visual, three-dimensional, and directly applicable to artistic practice.
- Specialized instruction from professionals with experience at studios such as Weta Digital, ILM, and Ubisoft, together with the participation of the Professor of Anatomy at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Valencia.
- A distinctive methodology that brings science and art together in a truly exceptional learning experience.
- A clear and progressive teaching approach, designed to deliver visible results from the very first sessions. Anatomy has never been taught quite like this.
- Complete flexibility in format, duration, number of sessions, and educational focus, adapting to the needs, size, and background of each institution. Training is delivered live and in person.
About the Instructor
Rafa Zabala is a sculptor, digital artist, and anatomy instructor with over 30 years of experience in figurative art.
Throughout his career, he has worked internationally on major feature films, video games, live performances, documentaries, television series, advertising campaigns, and collectible figures, among many other projects.
He regularly delivers lectures internationally and collaborates as an anatomy educator with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Valencia. This unique background allows him to offer a learning experience that combines artistic insight with scientific rigor, specifically tailored to the needs of artists.
How Can It Be Implemented?
- As a module within a master's degree or academic program.
- As a standalone intensive course lasting from 1 to 5 days, depending on where the students are traveling from.
- As an extracurricular or specialized training program.
- With the option of assessment, certification, and progress tracking.
The content focuses on the musculoskeletal study of the entire body, head and neck anatomy, and the major blood vessels relevant to artistic anatomy.
Would You Like to Discuss It?
We would be delighted to hear about your institution's needs and help you integrate this innovative training program into your curriculum.
We can design a customized format tailored to your number of students, academic schedule, and artistic focus.
